This is arguably the most important type of insurance that you can buy because it is our monthly income that supports our way of life and without it everything can come crashing down quickly.
This type of policy provides the most comprehensive cover because if your claim is successful it will pay out if you are signed off work by your GP for any reason. It can provide a tax-free monthly payment up to a maximum of 70% of your taxable income and can continue to pay for as long as you need it.
The cover will tie in with any sick pay you receive, therefore pay-outs can start from as soon as your first day of absence or as long as 6/12 months if you are in receipt of a government sick pay package or something similar.
